7/4/08 I decided to start a page where people can get to know me not only as a performer but also as a person. I hope everyone is relaxing with family and friends today the 4th of July. I’m relaxing and hanging out with my 5 cats Mollie, Persa, Pearle, Mattie and Abbie. Yes I’m an animal lover. I would have me a little farm if I could, dogs, cats, chickens, horses and cows! I love to write poetry and read. Right now I’m reading a book my baby sister (nine years younger than me) gave me 9 months ago called Eat Love Pray. It’s a great book I wish I had started reading it sooner. This year is turning out to be such a great year. I have met so many talented and wonderful people, not to mention my two best friends Susana and Sabra, who could ask for better friends. I have been performing at the Maverick which has a wonderful staff that has welcomed me with open arms. Old Tucson where I always have so much fun and the staff is great. I have also so much enjoyed performing at Javalinas Coffee House and Montgomery’s Irish Pub. I believe if you surround yourself with good people, good things will happen. If it weren’t for you the fans, I could not do what I do. Here is a big THANK YOU!!!!

7/8/08 I had such a great time this past Sunday at the Boondocks Lounge. I met so many talented female singer/songwriters who performed for New Beginnings, a non-profit organization to help homeless women and children all organized by Sabra Faulk. Sabra did a wonderful job bringing everyone together. It was a great success; a little over $2000.00 was raised. Thank you to everyone who came out and showed their support. This week my band and I will be at the Maverick Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I heard they have killer potato skins so come out and enjoy some food and drinks. Sabra and I will be at Montgomery’s Irish Pub this Friday. I love their fried zucchini sticks with lots and lots of ranch. Got to be bad sometimes! When I know I will be performing at the pub I sure know what I will be having for dinner that night. How is everyone enjoying the rain? I’m from Tucson so I love the rain since days here in Arizona are almost always sunny. I love to take road trips this time of year. This may sound silly but my favorite road is going to Disneyland. Growing up my family went every year. I hope everyone is having a great day and I hope to see you sometime this week!

7/11/08 Last night at the Maverick was a blast! I saw so many faces I hadn’t seen in a long time, and also all the great people that have come out to support me on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, you make all the difference. I love watching everyone from the stage dancing and having fun, I felt an awesome energy last night from everyone. Sometimes when I’m on stage singing a song I’ll think of something funny my little 5 year old nephew has said to me and I start to laugh. I pinch my hand I try to think of something else but sometimes it gets the best of me. He is so smart and some of the things he says makes me laugh until I cry. One of my best friends does that to me, when I’m around her I just can’t stop laughing. Right before a gig and she knows I never answer my phone when I’m getting ready, she’ll leave me funny little messages that make me laugh and feel happy. It sets my mood on a happy note right before I start my night of singing. Everyone needs a friend in their life to make them smile. Life is too short to be unhappy. It rained all night last night where I live which was a wonderful sound for sleeping. I hope it rains all weekend long. For me there’s nothing better than cooking a nice meal kicking back watching a good movie while it’s raining outside. Even when it’s not raining I like to do that but there is just something about the rain that gives me a cozy feeling. I hope everyone has a nice and relaxing weekend and I will see you Tuesday night!!!!

7/18/08 Hi!! Tuesday and Wednesday were fun as usual. I saw some old friends I hadn’t seen in years which was nice. Again thank you to everyone who came out to support us! I have to say I absolutely love the members of my band; they are like family to me. I always know they have my back and I always have theirs. John is a fantastic guitar player. John and I have worked together musically for about 10 years. John’s guitar playing is soulful and unique, you could close your eyes and by hearing the sound of his guitar you would know it was John playing. John has a great energy on stage and I’m so happy we work together we make a great team. John is not only my best friend but he is my favorite guitar player!! Sabra and I have known each other for a long too. We have worked together as a duo and in several bands that Sabra has helped me assemble. Sabra is not only one of my best friends but a rocking bass player and a heartfelt songwriter. Next time you see her ask her about her CD 28 Churches 5 Bars, all songs written and sung by Sabra. Sabra is a great talent and I am so happy to be working with her. She is also my mentor; she has been there for me thru many hard times. Bill Dinardo!!! That’s all you have to say to anyone and they know you are talking about a great guy. Bill is one of the hardest workers I know. He learns songs like nobody’s business, always in a good mood and keeps the best time ever!!!!! I have known and worked with Bill over the past 10 years and every time it’s a pleasure. What can I say I love these people!!! Tomorrow night Sabra is playing solo at Javalinas Coffee House from 7:30 to 9:30. Bring your lawn chair and drink some iced vanilla coffee!!! I’ll be out there hanging out enjoying the good music!! See ya there!

7/30/08 Last night at the Maverick was really fun. It was a great night for the whole band, perfect sound, lighting and smiling faces! I’m looking forward to seeing more friends tonight. The weekend is approaching, time for some fun. I usually try to spend my weekends going to hear other performers, I love listening to live music. Sometimes it’s fun to take mini road trips on the weekend, just a little time spent away from normal routine. My sister was telling me about a country bar in Scottsdale that has a mechanical bull; I just might have to check that out, sounds like fun! I believe you should always try to have a little fun everyday and live in the moment. Life is too short to be spent unhappy. If something in your life is making you unhappy, change it. We all have control over our own happiness and destinies. Don’t settle, dream as big as you can dream, love as big as you can love and give as big as you can give. I also believe life is about others and what you give comes back to you bigger than you could ever imagine! I hope everyone is having a good week! See ya tonight!!

8/15/08 Wow! I can’t believe this month is halfway over. The days have seemed to just fly by. I’m looking forward to the month of October; it’s my favorite time of the year here in Arizona. The weather starts to cool down and it’s pumpkin season. I like to go to Wilcox and pick a couple pumpkins at the pumpkin patch there. They also have lots of fresh vegetables to choose from. I’m hoping to make it to Sedona in October too. I love the smell of the air in Sedona and a couple of my favorite shops are there. Sedona is great for peaceful walks and just clearing your mind, being close to nature is very calming. Right now I am enjoying this journey and I’m looking forward to the months ahead. Again I can’t thank everyone enough for supporting the band and coming in to the Maverick on Tuesday and Wednesday.

9/8/08 In the past 2 weeks there has been great change in my life. Taking steps forward is never easy but it makes you a stronger person. Walking through life not really knowing what your journey is can be scary at times, change is never easy. Everything and everyone in your life have a purpose even though you may not understand what it is. Over the years so many people have come in and out of my life and sometimes makes me sad because I miss them and I have good memories of the time spent with them. Life is beautiful and so are people. You never know what tomorrow may bring. You may have the same type of day you had before or you may meet someone that completely changes your life. I always believe and keep in my mind that good things are waiting to happen and you know what, they do. You have to believe that they will and then they come true. I would like to share one more thing. I went to a church where they spoke about past lives and how we come back to earth to finish things we may not have accomplished in our previous life. I have to tell you it made me really upset that I may have to come back. They explained to me if I know that this is my last journey on earth then it is. I know in my heart this is my last journey here on earth, so I hope to share all the love and music I can while I'm here and meet as many wonderful people that I can. My wish for you is that you fly with your own wings and live your own truth.

11/10/08 I can't believe we are almost halfway through this month. I hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful weather we are having, I know I am. This month for me has been about friends and relationships. Someone who once had been very close to me has become close to me again and apart of my life. I'm happy to mend the friendship and start over, it's so funny how things work out and what life brings. Since life is about change and growing I believe people are in your life for a reason. People leave your life when you or they are ready to move forward after life lessons have been learned. Life gives you what you need if you are open to it and are ready to receive. We all help each other in different ways, maybe sometimes without even realizing it. Friends come and go for a moment but sometimes they return. Sometime you have friends for the moment and sometimes you have friends for life. No matter what I am so greatful for all the people that have come in and out of my life. For me life is about giving, loving and helping others. I pray each night for every single person on earth that their suffering and pain ends and since I'm an animal lover I pray the same for them. I feel so blessed for the things I have in my life and I am thankful every single day. I look forward to Thanksgiving and spending time with my family. I wish the same for you.
